Vertex Platform Solutions is a solo agency, ran by one person - Ricardo Ncube. I have a nack for engineering and I love business. Thats how VPS came to be, the joining of my unique intersections.
I'm Ricardo, the solo developer
at Vertex Platform Solutions
Vertex means a point where two or more curves, lines, or line segments meet or intersect. To me it's where platforms meet solutions. People meet processes. Websites meet profit margins.
I taught myself how to code websites in 2018 after learning to code micro processors at uni. At the time I just found it fun to have complete control over how a site is made, without using a builder like WordPress. I started coding with HTML and CSS and then fell in love with Vue and now Astro, which is how I make all my sites.
Then in 2019 I got a freelance gig with an Amazon brand doing 6 figures a year selling socks. I couldn't get enough of advertising and marketing. Then it hit me, why aren't website used to actually grow businesses, instead of take up digital real estate. Thus Vertex Platform Solutions was born.
